On this walk you'll travel from a 5,000-year-old grave built by Stone Age farmers, through a village first written down as 'hof te Emne' in a bishop's charter of 1139, to a 21st-century square that cost 12 million euros to build. Along the way you'll meet a giant's fingerprints in solid granite, a courthouse that started life as a colonial gentleman's villa, and a wartime headquarters that was nearly bombed off the map.
